its over.

competitions all over. i should be given a big round of applause for this but too bad, my hands ache from clapping so hard yesterday. xp

yesterday was our st. john's state competition. we are NAA. =) shu ping, zhi yin, nyee huey and huey khim came over on saturday to do some last minute preparation as usual. xD

this is the third time we're participating in these kind of competition. and it was the third time they came over to my house to sleep. but this time, was the BEST TIME YET! =DDDDD hahaha! i still remember laughing my head off and the tears of laughter came steaming down. lol! we laughed and laughed the WHOLE night!!!! =DDD ended up sleeping at 2am and waking up at 3.30am.

we laughed some more in the morning at hq. we laughed, we ss, we snapped quite a number of pictures. (will be uploaded soon due to the slow-ness of my computer) we tied our hair into one long braid and the 'tail' was twisted and tucked back uder the hair. gawd it was ITCHY laa dui! =( and the conclusion was, all the GIRLS hair looks like a LOBSTER whereas the GUYS look like DURIAN. xD haha!

reached the school still in casual wear. changed in the school's toilet and ss-ed there as well while yong kooi being such a GOOD FELLOW, guarded the GIRLS toilet while we changed. xD should have taken a picture of him, he looks like a british police holding a long gun. XD

once we entered our quarantine room, we were like "oh my gawd!". so lan! we were all seated so close! i mean with the other teams. and i cant even talk to my teammates without being overheard. we were the first team to be called to short case. when we're on our way back from short case, we've been ushered to home nursing. so by 9.30am, we've already finished 2 events. so we SLEPT in the quarantine room while waiting for foot drill.

when i opened my eyes at 12pm, i realized that many teams were leaving with their things. it seems that once we've finished all 3, we could leave. i started moaning why our foot drill cant be held earlier and it seems that the guy in charge heard me. lol! and he said, "you want to go first for foot drill? you can go now!" and we were overjoyed, kinda. finally lar.. after sleeping for hours.

met some of my SCC friends while eating in the canteen. =) saw some of them participating in the competition as well. while waiting for the results, we slept even longer. ish! so long-winded. finally it was time to announce the winners. xp

for my category, seriously, i was a lil disappointed about the home nursing prize. huey khim told me she was praying that the silver wasnt to us, but when announced NAA, she scolded "shit!". for me, i scolded "kns!". the whole team was kinda cursing already when we knew we actually lose by 2 marks. cis!! but nevermind, the more important thing is...

NCA, ACA, NAA, AAA won the overall champions for this round of the competition! All of us won. =) All teams are to go to the national level competition in june. all the teams, but not mine.

its not everyday we get to go to a national level competition. its not everyday i get to represent selangor to go for something like this. its a once in a lifetime chance i suppose? but! B U T, SPM dont come every day either. if i spoil my chances of getting good grades this time, i dont think i can guarantee myself a bright future. plus, i need to see at least 8As (i dont ask for A+, i just ask for As) in my exam slip, i am sure to CRY my head off. same goes for the trials and midterm papers. i dont want to get 4As and then get the 8th from the BACK like last midterm. i want at least something like 7As and 13th from the FRONT like last final exam.

exams and competition, i pick exam. but if this isnt SPM year for me, i'd pick competition. i am sorry to those who will be disappointed with my decision. i can only say sorry. =X
