the attire was FORMAL. which, gave me a BIG headache! i dont have formal clothes la dey. so, my whole family went hunting for formal clothes. bought a set, but i didnt wear that in the end and wore what i already have -.- wasting money.
the first familiar face i saw at taylor's was eng seng! luckily i saw him or else i'll feel so weird walking to the hall alone (a father as a companion doesnt really work out =X) registered and made our way to the hall where we were briefed about Taylor's and also about Principal Awards. i feel quite weird there because everyone who is there looks so darn smart (not by how they wear. what i meant was they have the brains) and i feel so darn stupid amongst them. there were 4 categories of awards, 15k, 10k, 5k and lastly, 0k. after the what seems like wont end briefing session, we were divided into 3 big groups and went for our interview.
this was my interviewer. Ms. Thellbi (i hope i didnt spell her name wrong). (she was the one who asked me why i dont have straight As in my report card -.-!) she was actually really sweet and friendly =) (oh and i am not so 'brave' to ask her to pose and let me take a picture. this was taken from the taylor's facebook page xD)
the interview was actually quite well. she made me feel very comfortable and not at all scared. she asked me how i deal with 'hard' people and this was the questions i answered most confidently and if i might say, almost flawless because i deal with a few people who gives me the pain in the neck. but thanks to them, i know how to answer that question =D
and thanks to marathon club, PBM and also st john. without participating so actively in so many forms of extra co curricular, i dont even think i stand a chance =X
this is humiliating. my dad and i were caught by the photographer talking to the emcee outside the hall xD found it in facebook too. my dad said :"omg! my picture is in facebook!!!" -.-
the second on the left was my coordinator. she was really nice too. she talked to me a lot and told me how taylor's like and all. she's the manager of extra co curricular in taylor's or something. cant be sure xp
80% of the kwang hua students who went to the interview are in this picture. a total of 13 kh students went (much lesser than i expected. maybe not so many people applied for it because we have to write a funny titled essay -.-)
well, after the 2 rounds, i was awarded 5k. well, good enough for people like me =p i dont work hard so this is the amount i get. congratz to everyone who got the award =)
next stop, Sunway's A-Level scholarship interview next sunday =)
